Megafreight has a strong heritage having been operating under the same leadership since its inception 1981. The group has been on an active yet selective acquisition trail since 1984, which led to the Imperial Group buying into Megafreight in 2001. The Directors of Megafreight still maintain a significant stake in the business, resulting in an ownership mentality when dealing with our clients.

Our core business is Global Freight Management, encompassing 'Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Clearing and ground based logistics services.' We also specialise in the movement of wine and are in fact the leaders in South Africa in this arena.

As a business partner, we believe in being proactive rather than just playing a service provider role as this is a core pillar of the Megafreight offering and means that our team takes ownership of your shipments, resulting in accountability and dedication.
